Since 1996 AMERICAN kenpo KARATE has offered the best aerobic exercise with our Cardio-KICKING full bag workout program.
In Cardio-KICKING class, the members wear their regular aerobic or gym workout gear and comfortable cross trainer shoes while they punch and kick on their individually assigned POWERLINE WAVEMASTER bag. Classes are 1 hour long.
Befroe the class starts, the members wrap their hands and put on their boxing gloves.
Warm ups and stretching are included along with calisthenics to get your heart beat up. Then the real workout begins, kicking, punching, bobbing and weaving. Dancing around your individually assigned POWERLINE WAVEMASTER bag as you jab, kick, uppercut, right cross, and shuffle, while darting in and out gives you a very serious workout.
Then an intense 10 minute cooldown which includes abdominal and/or shoulder workouts.
ABOUT THE STUDIOOur studio offers almost 4,000 SF of the most modern and up to date facilities in San Antonio. Separate men's and women's dressing rooms with lockers available for the security of your personal belongs.
RECOMMENDED GEAR FOR Cardio-KICKING
1. Cross trainer shoes, aerobic shoes or martial arts shoes are excellent footwear for Cardio-KICKING.
2. Aerobic workout shorts, spandex shorts and T-shirts or tank tops.
3. Sport water bottle filled with your favorite thirst quencher for fluid intake.
4. Boxing hand/wrist wraps.
5. 12 oz. or 14 oz. Boxing Gloves.
(We have loaner gloves for your FREE Trial classes)
