Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate System
"Huk" Planas is truly a first generation student of SGM Edmund K. Parker. In 1969 Huk moved to Pasadena, California to go to work for Ed Parker as a Brown Belt. As a black belt, he managed and taught at the Pasadena school until 1975. He received his Black Belt and all subsequent ranks through Ed Parker up to Seventh Degree, the highest non-honorary, non-political rank given by Edmund Parker.
Known as an "Instructor's Instructor", Huk teaches the "whys" of kenpo, not just the "hows" based on the rules and principles of motion. Come learn from his extraordinary knowledge.
